Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Responsible Care Policy
At TQL, it is our goal to be the freight brokerage firm that does it right. We are committed at all levels of our company to working toward continual improvement in the areas of health, safety, security and environmental performance. In support of this commitment, we will endeavor to:
- Develop, implement, and continually improve our Responsible Care Management System® to enhance our health, safety, security and environmental performance
- Monitor and evaluate our health, safety, security and environmental performance, and take timely corrective actions, as necessary, in accordance with our Responsible Care Management System®
- Comply with all health, safety, security and environmental laws and regulations that are applicable to us in our capacity as a freight broker and other relevant Responsible Care® requirements to which we subscribe
- Maintain a safe and secure workplace for our employees
- Encourage employees to share accountability for continual improvement in our health, safety security, and environmental performance through training and consultation
- Foster and maintain an open dialogue with, and encourage feedback from, our employees, customers and other interested parties as determined appropriate
- Promote environmental sustainability by recycling and using electronic alternatives to reduce waste across all office locations
- Minimize energy consumption within our facilities by encouraging energy-conscious practices and efficient use of resources
