WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES TQL COLLECT?
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers such as a real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, social media identifier, push notification token, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, social security number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers
- Shipment-related information such as origin and destination locations, shipment status and location (including precise geolocation, as applicable), contact information of shipper, consignee, party identified for notifications, carriers and/or other parties, individual that signs for the delivery of cargo, and other information pertaining to the provision of logistics services (such as information for customs clearance or security screening purposes)
- Financial information such as information used for making, receiving or otherwise processing payments (e.g., bank account number, credit or debit card number or similar information)
- Characteristics of protected classifications under U.S. federal (and California) law such as citizenship, military or veteran status, gender, disability
- Commercial information such as records of services or products purchased
- Internet or other electronic network activity information such as browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an internet website, application, or advertisement
- Geolocation data such as geolocation data derived from your IP address, geolocation data (including precise geolocation) from your mobile device if you use certain location-based features of our mobile apps such as the “Take Me Home” feature in the TQL Carrier Dashboard mobile app, and geolocation data of logistics service provider personnel in connection with tracking shipments, including, without limitation, precise geolocation data (e.g., latitude and longitude coordinates using GPS) received via the TQL Carrier Dashboard mobile app, via third party mobile apps used in connection with tracking shipments, and via in-vehicle tracking devices
- Sensory data such as audio, electronic, visual or similar sensory information
- Professional or employment-related information such as current or past job history and business contact information
- Non-public education information such as education records directly maintained by an educational institution or party acting on its behalf, such as files, documents or other materials which contain information directly related to a student (e.g., grades or transcripts)
- Inferences drawn from any other personal information to create a profile reflecting a person’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities and/or aptitudes

We may also collect sensitive personal information (as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended from time to time (“CCPA”)) such as government identifiers, complete account access credentials, precise geolocation data, racial or ethnic origin, citizenship or immigration information, or content of mail, email or text messages unless we are the intended recipient.

TO WHOM DO WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

- Affiliates and Related Entities: We may disclose your personal information to our affiliates and related entities in order to provide you with access to and use of the TQL Sites, to provide products, services or offerings, to administer our relationship with you (e.g., invoicing, marketing, IT/infrastructure, customer or supplier intake/management), or otherwise as necessary for the above-mentioned business purposes.
- Third-Party Service Providers: We may disclose your personal information to third party Service Providers which provide services or functions for us or on our behalf or which otherwise assist us in providing the TQL Sites, or our products, services or offerings. These third parties may need your personal information to perform their functions and services, or as otherwise necessary for the above-mentioned business purposes. “Service Providers” may include service providers, contractors, suppliers, dealers, distributors, and consultants providing various services or functions such as those relating to infrastructure/information technology, customer service, human resources, recruiting, marketing, email delivery, security, fraud prevention, customer and supplier intake/management, record management, data storage and management, personal information destruction, insurance, risk management, accounting, finance, auditing, analytics, billing and collections, financial institutions, and payment processors.
- Third parties relating to logistics services: In connection with the performance of logistics services, we may disclose your personal information to third parties, such as to our customers and their agents/representatives, carriers and other logistics service providers and government entities, relating to shipments (e.g., origin and destination locations, shipment status and location, including precise geolocation, as applicable, contact information of shipper, consignee, party identified for notifications, carriers, individuals that sign for the delivery of shipments, and/or other parties) and otherwise relating to the provision of logistics services and performance of related functions and services (such as facilitation of transportation claims).
- Third parties relating to compliance and legal reasons, security, risk management, and protection: We may disclose your personal information to law enforcement, regulators, other government authorities or officials, courts and other tribunals, our professional advisors (such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors), and other recipients of mandatory disclosures and legal claims, as we may in our sole discretion determine is necessary or reasonably required to comply with: applicable laws or regulations; subpoenas; court orders or other legal processes; duly authorized requests from law enforcement, regulators or other governmental authorities or officials; or any other legally enforceable demand. - Shipment-Related Tracking Through TQL Carrier Dashboard Mobile App. When you allow location tracking for a shipment through the TQL Carrier Dashboard mobile app (i.e., by pressing the appropriate button in the prompt screen and completing the other steps described in the prompt screen to allow location tracking), the TQL Carrier Dashboard mobile app collects your precise geolocation information (e.g., precise longitude and latitude GPS coordinates collected at regular intervals from your mobile device’s GPS system) from the first pickup date until marked load completion. The "first pickup date" refers to the scheduled date of first pickup for the shipment, and location tracking commences either immediately upon your allowance of tracking through the TQL Carrier Dashboard mobile app, in the event you allowed such tracking on the scheduled date of first pickup (based upon Eastern Prevailing Time), or at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Prevailing Time if you allowed such tracking prior to the scheduled date of first pickup. "Marked load completion" refers to when the delivery of the shipment is marked as completed in TQL's systems.
- Online/In-App Payment Processor. We use Braintree, a PayPal service, for processing online and in-app payments made through the TQL Sites, and related services. If you wish to pay online or in-app through the TQL Sites, Braintree may collect the personal information you provide, such as payment and other identifying information. Braintree uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us and others, including for fraud detection, harm and loss prevention, authentication, analytics related to the performance of its services, and to comply with applicable legal requirements. The processing of this information will be subject to the PayPal Privacy Statement available at www.braintreepayments.com. We may change our payment processor(s) at any time with or without notice to you, and we will update our Privacy and Cookies Policy if such change occurs.
