This Privacy Policy applies to “personal information” (also known as “personal data” or “personally identifiable information”, depending upon your jurisdiction, and with each term as more particularly defined and limited by applicable privacy laws) collected via our websites, which include, without limitation, tql.com, traxltl.tql.com, trax.tql.com, carrierdashboard.tql.com, register.tql.com, and traxftl.tql.com, as well as other websites operated on our domain or operated by or on behalf of us, such as careers.tql.com and app.tql.com/prepaycredit; our software; our mobile applications, including, without limitation, TQL Carrier Dashboard, TQL Trax, and O-T-G “On the Go” (as applicable and as accessible to our employees); our internal employee website, The Hub, and other internal communication services; and our other products and services, which are accessible by computer, tablets, consoles, mobile phones, and other electronic devices (collectively, the “TQL Site(s)”), and your access to and use of the TQL Sites.

In addition, this Privacy Policy describes: (i) TQL’s collection, use, disclosure and processing of personal information obtained through the TQL Sites and by means other than through the TQL Sites; and (ii) our terms regarding certain communications via text and sms messaging as set forth in the section below titled “WHAT ARE THE TERMS FOR TQL’S TEXT/SMS MESSAGING TO MOTOR CARRIERS AND POTENTIAL EMPLOYEES?”

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using any of the TQL Sites, as this Privacy Policy and our TERMS OF USE (www.tql.com/terms), which are incorporated herein by this reference, govern your access to and use of the TQL Sites. The TQL Sites are available for your use on the condition that you agree to this Privacy Policy and our TERMS OF USE. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy and our TERMS OF USE, do not access or use the TQL Sites. By accessing or using any of the TQL Sites, or by providing your personal information or other information to us, you and the entity you are representing (“you” or “your”) signify your consent to TQL’s collection, use, disclosure and processing of personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by this Privacy Policy and our TERMS OF USE.

Please note that a few third parties administer functions for TQL via their owned and/or operated websites, including (as of the last revised effective date) tql.taleo.net, app.skillsurvey.com and tqlcarriers.rmissecure.com. Although TQL can access certain functions and information collected via those third-party websites for purposes such as employment, recruitment, hiring, reference checks, carrier and customer onboarding and related information collection, etc., each of these websites is subject to the applicable third parties’ own privacy policy, cookies policy and terms of use, unless our Privacy Policy and TERMS OF USE are exclusively linked on the third-party website or otherwise expressly stated (see the section below titled “HOW CAN I LEARN MORE ABOUT COOKIES USED ON THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES?” for further information).

In addition, we use Braintree, a PayPal service, for processing online and in-app payments made through the TQL Sites, and related services. If you wish to use one of these services and pay online or in-app through the TQL Sites, Braintree may collect the personal information you provide, such as payment and other identifying information. Braintree uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us and others, including for fraud detection, harm and loss prevention, authentication, analytics related to the performance of its services, and to comply with applicable legal requirements. The processing of this information will be subject to the PayPal Privacy Statement available at www.braintreepayments.com. We may change our payment processor(s) at any time with or without notice to you, and we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly if such change occurs.

The TQL Sites may contain links to other websites operated by unrelated third parties. TQL is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. TQL encourages you to be aware of this when you leave the TQL Sites and to read the privacy policies of every website that collects personally identifiable information from you. This Privacy Policy applies only to the TQL Sites and TQL’s collection, use, disclosure and processing of personal information.
