TQL salutes the truck drivers that keep America moving

The TQL Foundation donates $75,000 during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week

TQL honored the hard-working carriers who keep our country moving one mile at a time as part of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Sept. 15-21.

The TQL Foundation pledged $75,000 in support of the backbone of the supply chain: the professional drivers who deliver freight safely, securely and on time, and the families that support them. The donation included $50,000 for the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund and $25,000 for Truckers Against Trafficking.

The St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund assists carriers and their families when an injury or illness prevents a driver from working. The nonprofit provides diverse services and programs, including free health and wellness programs that benefit professional drivers and the trucking industry.

Truckers Against Trafficking assists law enforcement in the recognition and reporting of human trafficking. The organization seeks the recovery of victims and arrest of perpetrators.

TQL is the second-largest freight brokerage in North America and one of the largest global third-party logistics firms, TQL carriers are vital to our mission to create greater supply chain efficiencies for our customers. We move over 3 million loads of freight annually through our comprehensive portfolio of logistics services and network of 140,000+ carriers.

In addition to the foundation’s National Truck Driver Appreciation Week donation, TQL held giveaways for carriers and an “American Pride: Delivered by Truck Drivers” banner is proudly displayed on the side of headquarters facing I-275.
