TQL NAMED RESPONSIBLE CARE PARTNER OF THE YEAR 3 OUT OF 4 YEARS AND AWARDED FOR OUTSTANDING COVID-19 RESPONSE EFFORTS
TQL has been named by the American Chemistry Council (ACC) a 2021 Responsible Care Partner of the Year for the third time and was recognized with the Outstanding COVID-19 Response Efforts Award.
The Responsible Care Partner of the Year Award recognizes ACC Partner companies that demonstrate leadership in the health, safety, and security of employees, customers, facilities, processes, and the environment. TQL also received the Partner of the Year award in 2018, and 2020.
The Outstanding Covid-19 Response Efforts Award recognizes exemplary efforts from companies in response to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
One reason TQL continues to be recognized is due in part to the dedication to incremental improvements as an ACC Partner. TQL recently issued Cargo Risk Management materials for chemical and hazmat customers. The materials give guidance on risk management solutions including customized plans for carrier selection and over-the-road management, distressed load assistance, and claims management services and processes.
Continuous improvements to become a more sustainable company have also been a top priority for TQL. In 2020, TQL partnered with Terrapass, to off-set more than 27 metric tons of carbon from our headquarters. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TQL implemented a pledge to donate $1 million in transportation costs through the Moves that Matter program, which gets goods in the hands of those that need it most.
