This wasn’t just any load. The discharge purification refinery spanned 87 feet and weighed 250,000 pounds, a figure that increased to 550,000 pounds with its specialized trailer and equipment.
The Oversize/Overweight freight required two tractors – one to push, one to pull – within an 11-vehicle caravan that traveled just 20 miles per hour on a carefully pre-planned route.
