Total Quality Logistics Finalist In Fast 55 For The 9TH Year In A Row

The Business Courier’s Fast 55 competition recognizes the fastest-growing private companies in Greater Cincinnati. To be named to the Fast 55, companies must be based in the Greater Cincinnati region and have at least $1 million in average revenue over three years.

TQL first appeared on the list in 2005 with annual revenues of $192 million. The company’s annual revenues now top more than $1.3 billion.

“We set an extremely high standard by providing around-the-clock availability to our customers and carriers. It has been instrumental to our growth, which has been 100% organic,” said Kerry Byrne, TQL executive sales vice president.

The company also credits its national expansion strategy, which began in 2009, for its continuing growth during a time when freight movements nationwide remained relatively flat.

“Our growth is coming from new customers,” said Byrne.

TQL currently operates 18 offices nationwide and will add 300-400 new employees this year, primarily in its sales account executive role. The company has announced office expansions in the cities of Charlotte, N.C., Chicago, Ill., Columbus, Ohio, and Lexington, Ky. this year, as well as opened a new office in Orlando, Fla. Additional expansions and new satellite locations are planned to be announced later this year.
