Send Season’s Greetings to Sick Children at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
Cincinnati (OH) – Help make a sick child’s holiday season merry and bright by sending greeting cards that will be delivered right to the child’s bedside at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, making their hospital room feel more like home for the holidays.
Freight brokerage firm Total Quality Logistics (TQL) and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital are teaming up for the second year to sponsor the holiday greeting card campaign.
From now through December 6, go online to give.cincinnatichildrens.org/tql and pick from one of six specially designed holiday greeting cards. The cards are printed and delivered to the children by hospital staff. Last December, more than 1,015 cards were distributed.
“Spending the holidays in the hospital is rough on children and families. Thoughtful gestures like these cards spread cheer and moments of joy,” says James Saporito, Senior Vice President of Development at Cincinnati Children’s. “We are so grateful to TQL, and our caring community of supporters, for remembering our patients this holiday season.”
This year’s card designs include adorable animals, silly dog puns like “Canine just say…Happy Holidays” and “Sending you lots of pugs this holiday season,” and plenty of sweet holiday wishes.
The TQL Foundation is a committed partner of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Last year, the foundation pledged $1 million to help the hospital’s Proton Therapy Center bring state-of-the-art cancer treatments to the region. TQL also wrapped up its annual Cancer Awareness Month fundraising activities in October, raising another $100,000 to fund cancer research.
