Moves That Matter $1M Announcement
TQL pledged $1 million to get donated goods in the hands of those who need them most.
Our Logistics Account Executives provide their expertise coordinating the shipment and we cover the cost. This year we’ve moved 2.5+ million pounds of food, water, medical supplies and more that our customers donated to nonprofits across the nation. Inspired by their generosity, we are eager to step up and help with transportation of these donated goods with a $1M commitment.
Moves that Matter was established in 2014 and in the six years since, we have helped move donations to hurricane victims, produce and water to foodbanks, wreaths and flags to honor fallen soldiers, diapers for new moms and more.
One recent Moves that Matter load was with an organization called Santa’s Hide Away Hollow (SHAH), an organization that grants kids wishes to visit Santa when they have fallen on hard times. SHAH needed equipment to host the families and making their wonderland special for all visitors. Our Logistics Account Executives were able to utilize their skills and make it happen.
Moves like these remind us that some loads are ordinary, and others are extraordinary.
