TQL Named Finalist For Military Honor
The website CivilianJobs.com named Total Quality Logistics a finalist for its 2016 Most Valuable Employers for Military award.
The MVE recognition helps military-experienced job seekers and veterans identify the top employers to target for civilian careers.
This is the ninth year for the MVE program, but the first time TQL applied for the recognition. Winners will be announced in May and publicized on the website and in the May issue of Military Transition News.
“This is a great recognition for us,” said LeeAnn R., TQL military recruiter. “It shows we’re doing well in our efforts to recruit, hire and retain the men and women who served our country.”
MVE finalists were selected based on employer surveys outlining their recruiting, training and retention plans for service members and veterans.
“What distinguished the entries this year was the quality of the finalist submissions and the variety of programs they are using to attract and retain military job seekers,” said Garrett Reed, branch manager of CivilianJobs.com. “I want to personally thank and congratulate every finalist for their efforts to launch and expand their veteran hiring initiatives.”
TQL has a long history of military support. Multiple managers at TQL have been recognized with Patriot Awards for their exemplary support of employees in the National Guard and Reserve. The company received the Above & Beyond Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves and TQL recently received its third Military Friendly Employer® recognition from Victory Media and G.I. Jobs magazine.
In additional, TQL was invited to testify on best practices for military hiring in a Congressional field hearing hosted by U.S. Representative Brad Wenstrup last month.
Veterans, reservists and National Guardsmen can do very well here. Consider your next career with TQL.
