Total Quality Logistics named a Best Place to Work in IT for the third time
TQL was recently named to Insider Pros and ComputerWorld’s 2021 list of Best Places to Work in IT.
Insider Pro and ComputerWorld’s list includes the top 100 organizations to work for in IT. This is TQL’s third straight year to receive the recognition and is the only freight brokerage firm to be in this year’s ranking.
TQL’s IT Team earned the award through a strong score on a comprehensive questionnaire about the company’s offerings in categories such as benefits, career development, training, diversity, and retention. Surveys that were sent out to IT employees also factored into the ranking.
TQL IT Security Specialist, Brian H., has been in the IT department for nearly 14 years. He shared why he loves working for the department and company, “We work together as a team to achieve the same goal. If I communicate that there is a problem that needs to be fixed, I have 20 emails from people saying they can help. I don’t have to ask twice.”
Noah V., an IT Intern that has worked in the department during school breaks since 2016, says he keeps coming back because of the people. “The team is always helpful and easy to talk to. My accomplishments don’t go unnoticed by my colleagues and it is very validating.”
Over the past year, TQL’s IT team has grown to over 300 employees, who are primarily located in Cincinnati and Tampa. Those talented individuals are the force behind creating market leading innovative transportation technology solutions.
