Meet Lauren, Senior Manager of Commissions.
What qualities or personality traits have propelled you to where you are today?
My strong work ethic has been one of my biggest success factors. Along with being self-motivated, I’ve prided myself on being a team player through strong collaboration, positivity and accountability.
What are the benefits of having more women and diversity at TQL?
Diversity of thought, experience and perspective are essential to success. By looking through different lenses, we gain a wider range of experiences and knowledge to evolve and adapt in the fast-paced TQL environment.
What motivates/inspires you?
Team successes bring me the most satisfaction. Shared positive and challenging experiences make the celebration even more rewarding.
What is the best career advice you’ve received and given?
You create your own opportunities. The key is to continually challenge yourself and avoid becoming complacent. I’ve found the most fulfilling experiences are those that make me the most uncomfortable.
How do you maintain a work/life balance?
Scheduled activities and social commitments allow me to plan accordingly to meet work deadlines and maintain a personal life. Weekly, I play volleyball and tennis with friends, which is both social time and a stress release.
