Moves that Matter for the Holidays

Here at TQL we have learned that, while all our loads are important, some can be ordinary and others are extraordinary. These special loads, delivered through the Moves that Matter program, allow us to partner with our customers to deliver donated goods to those that need them most and led to our 2020 pledge of $1 million to the program.

This December, we tackle our largest Moves that Matter partnership yet with the First Responders Children’s Foundation. We are working together to make sure kids across the nation have something to open for Christmas. TQL is covering the transportation costs to move more than 250,000 donated toys to 70 cities. These toys are being distributed by police and fire departments to children living in communities of need.

Ashley T., a TQL Logistics Account Executive (LAE) has donated her time, talents, and commission to ensure all toy loads arrive safely and on time. So far, she has coordinated the pickup and drop off of over 390 pallets of toys across 16,000 miles putting smiles on kids faces from California to New Jersey.

“I love that the Moves that Matters program let’s me volunteer my skills as an LAE while helping the First Responders Children’s Foundation spread holiday cheer to children across the nation” said Ashley.

Inspired by our customers generosity donating products and food, we are proud to help their nonprofit partners worry less about the logistics and more about serving the community.

If you’re looking for a career in sales that can really make an impact, TQL is interviewing nationwide. Find your opportunity here.
