TQL Cycles For Cystic Fibrosis
TQL employees love a good challenge.
They enjoy it even more when it is for a great cause.
Some Greater Cincinnati employees will join area cyclers on Saturday, August 8 for the Cycle for Life event. The event is hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and raises money and awareness to help find a cure for the disease. About 30,000 people across the United States are living with cystic fibrosis. This life-threatening, genetic disease causes persistent lung infections and progressively limits the ability to breathe.
This is TQL’s third year sponsoring the event, contributing $42,500 to the CF Foundation since 2012.
“TQL has been a long-time supporter of CF because of the incredible support they provide to the CF community,” said Corporate Giving Specialist Corey D. “Participating in this event gives us another avenue to support this important work as well as a great opportunity to get our active employees away from their desks.”
Check-in for the event begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Lunken Airport Playfield Picnic Shelter. Cyclers will have route options of 20, 40 or 65 miles with fully stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles along the way. There is still time to register. Learn more here.
