TQL’s Easter Eggstravaganza delivers egg-stra spring fun
Annual event treats TQL’ers to food, games and the Easter BunnyBy Shannon Russell
Spring vibes bloomed at TQL’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza, a free, fun-packed employee celebration filled with kids’ crafts and games, a hearty breakfast for all and photos with everyone’s favorite bunny.
More than 1,000 TQL’ers and their families headed to Cincinnati HQ April 5 for the festivities. Their first stop was an outdoor petting zoo. The barnyard lineup included goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, an alpaca, a llama and a miniature horse, donkey and cow.
Inside, HQ was transformed into “Ivy Pointe Park.” A papier-mâché tree with green balloon leaves and tulle limbs extended more than 10 feet into the air. Dangling carrots and spring-themed pennants reinforced the spring theme.
As a magician made rounds and kids enjoyed balloon animal art and face painting, TQL’s mascot, Blue, greeted families and posed for photos.
TQL Cares’ Frisbee Flower Fling station had a charitable theme. Kids flung a disc through a giant flower for a chance to win a prize. At the event’s end, Cares made a $5,000 donation to the Cincinnati Nature Center.
Other activities included:
- Umbrella Toss and Lily Pad Leap games for children, with prizes
- A craft station for kids to create TQL Kids Club kites
- An Easter basket raffle
- Photos with the Easter Bunny
- Complimentary pinwheels for kids after visiting the Easter Bunny
- An online pop-up shop filled with TQL apparel and goods
From the tasty meal to Easter Bunny photos, Easter Eggstravaganza was a hoppin’ good time for all.
