Cards for Seniors when Visits aren’t Allowed
TQL employees may be social distancing, but they aren’t socially distant. With shelter-in-place orders across the state due to COVID-19, many senior citizens are finding themselves especially isolated. So TQL expanded a greeting card campaign for employees to send cards to family and friends they are missing during this time to include an option to send a note to senior citizens in our area. To-date, TQL employees took the time to write more than 150 personalized cards to senior citizens in Clermont County, the home of our corporate headquarters.
TQL partnered with the Clermont County Senior Services Meals on Wheels program which offers nutritious, lunchtime meals delivered to older adults throughout Clermont County who have difficulty preparing food as a result of one or more medical situations. The cards, completed by TQL employees and filled with encouraging notes and messages, were placed in meals delivered to seniors on April 20.
TQL will continue to send cards while shelter-in-place orders exist as we strive to bring happiness to those most isolated. Interested in working for a team that takes care of each other and our community? See our open positions here.
